What is the difference between Take and Get?

       

 

• Take is used when there is some action by the subject.

• Get is used when there is no action from the subject.

• Get is also used  when it means to buy.

1. Everyday I take the subway to work
2. I get my salary on the 5th of every month.
3. I plan to take my Aussie friend to a Brazilian steakhouse when he comes over
4. She is getting married in September
